Refurbishment of Semi – detached residential 2-bed house

Semi-detached residential 2-bed house at the end of a total refurbishment by the owner/architect. The main works included demolition of str. Walls to achieve open plan living, new bathroom, porch, skylight, green roof, UFH and insulation.

Located on Uxbridge Road is a property that has been built during the post-war period. The original design goes back to 1948. The latest planning documents are dated 1952 but during the renovation of the roof, a packet was found with two names of the builders constructing the house dated 1948. The house extension was added probably during the 80s or 90s but no documents were found indicating this.

This house is also showcased on Open House days and everyone can go and visit the house. Witness the construction and design in real life. The next Open House will be on Sunday 12th September.
